Competition Stallions is managed by HorseIT Ltd, an established online and marketing equestrian business in the UK since 1999. HorseIT runs the online equestrian portal www.HorseIT.com & the online equestrian directory, www.Equibusiness.com HorseIT printed the equestrian directory, Equibusiness.com in an A5 publication which sold over 12,000 copies. Jane Skepper, the Director of HorseIT, is also a published author of ‘Your Mare’s First Foal’, a qualified AI Technician and runs the Heritage Coast Stud standing stallions at stud and operating a DEFRA EU Approved Stallion AI Training & Collection Facility in East Anglia.

With 4,500 copies printed, the Competition Stallion Guide is a quality publication that as well as being available online, was distributed at all major breeding events throughout 2019 including:-
The Stallion showcase, British Horse Foundation Awards Dinner, British Stallion Event, BEF Futurity Events throughout the UK, All Major Competition Horse Sales, Other Breeding and high profile events along with vets practices. The 2020 Edition will be distributed at the same locations and some new ones including Stallion Parades at the major events.

The Competition Stallions Guide provides high quality information on particular breeding information alongside detailed stallion information to enable mare owners to see what stallions are available at stud and be able to make a considered decision as to which stallions they want to follow up to compliment their mares.
It was decided early on that all Stallions listed should be either formally Graded or be Approved either by their own competition record or that of their progeny. It is important to note that Competition Stallions is not a Stud Book. So we have relied upon Stallion owners providing correct information. We hope to develop further relationships with the various Grading Studbooks as the years progress to be sure to include all Graded or Approved Stallions in some form or another. All Stallions have an indication as to which discipline their owners deem them most suited.
So if you are looking for a Dressage stallion, Endurance stallion, Eventing stallion, Showjumping stallion or Sports Pony Stallion they are easy to identify.
The Competition Stallions Guide was first printed in 2012. Since then we have continued with our user friendly standardized format and distinctive colourscheme, other than the first and 2017 Golden Issue, to celebrate Big Star's Olympic showjumping win.
